Labour & Human Resource Department (LHRD), Punjab mandated under the ILO ratified conventions GIMS to provide protection for workers against Injury arising from their employment. Since industrial accidents not only cause suffering and diseases among workers and their families but also represent an impact on material loss to society in general.

Punjab Employees Social Security Institute (PESSI), aims to develop an online accident monitoring and reporting system that will not only keep an online inventory of accidents taking place in our industrial sector but also identify the risk-prone sectors, thus helping in developing targeted prevention & inspection strategies.

This application can be readily used by Labour & Human Resource Department, PESSI health facilities & directorates, employers, and Injured employees to register an industrial accident.
